Bubonic Plague

That got your attention, I bet.  I don’t know where else to post this so those interested can see/read it, so I put it here.

I am currently reading a book about the Plague outbreak in England in the 1660s. I thought the book would be depressing, but it’s not AND I’m learning something new from history which was never a favorite school subject of mine.  That’s why I like historical fiction: I can enjoy a good story and learn something of historial importance.  If you’ll visit this site  you’ll read an article about the town of Eyam, in England, and how it was the center of a plague outbreak. I think it’s fascinating that the first case was able to be tracked to a tailor who brought in an infected bolt of cloth – how could anyone have tracked that from so long ago??   I just thought this might of interest to some of you.
